A: Highgene HWP-1 is a water purification device, and it gives crystal Clear and safe drinking water.

A:  HWP-1 Water purification takes place in 3 stages.

Stage-1: Sediment Filtration – Removes Dirt, Silt and suspended solids from raw water.

Stage-2: Activated Carbon: Removes excess residual chlorine in water, organic chemicals like pesticides, chloroform and also reduces heavy metals from the raw water

Stage-3: Ultra Filtration : Removes Microbiological contamination like Bacteria , Virus & Cyst

This purifier in an inline plumbed in system with up to 1 lit/min flowrate. User can store the water in separate clean containers.

 There are 2 Cartridges. First one is a Dual Cartridge ( Sediment and Carbon ) and the second one is a Ultra Filtration.

A:  If the water source is from river or municipal treated water, it is good to use this purifier, because this purifier retains all useful natural minerals in the water which is one of the best features of this purifier. 

If you are using borewell water or external supplier tanker water, please get the water tested locally. The only parameter to be tested is TDS ( Total Dissolved Solids ). If it is below 500ppm, the HWP1 purifier suitable. This purifier is best suited for water with TDS <500 ppm.

If there is a necessity of technician visit, company advises the customer to connect with locally available plumber/purifier technician who will install.

1. Keep the purifier in neat and clean condition.
2. Do not use it with hot water.
3. Take out the filters from the housings and wash them once in 3 months
4. Change both the filters once in an year or when the flow drops down drastically.

A: We have provided suitable spanner along with the unit. You can use the same to open the purifier cartridge housings  and replace the filters with new ones.

A: Yes, there is a possibility of need for early cartridge replacement when your raw water is abnormally turbid (dirty). When flow of output water drops to  less than 60% it is recommended to replace the filter cartridge.

A: Presently White Colour purifier is available.

A:  Free Replacement will be sent if the complaint is received within 2 days of delivery with relevant photographs.

A:  Return policy not applicable if the unit is in used condition. Unused purifier can be returned provided  request is raised within two days after  delivery by calling customer support number or sending email.

A:HWP-1 enhances the taste of water by removing odour causing organic chemicals and chlorine. HWP-1 purifier will not alter the TDS of water.

A:You can store in clean airtight containers and advisable to keep in cold or normal room temperature.

A.No need to boil the water as the harmful microorganisms are already removed by the water purifier.
