A: Highgene HWP-1 is a water purification device, and it gives crystal Clear and safe drinking water.
How does it purify the water?
A: HWP-1 Water purification takes place in 3 stages.
Stage-1: Sediment Filtration – Removes Dirt, Silt and suspended solids from raw water.
Stage-2: Activated Carbon: Removes excess residual chlorine in water, organic chemicals like pesticides, chloroform and also reduces heavy metals from the raw water
Stage-3: Ultra Filtration : Removes Microbiological contamination like Bacteria , Virus & Cyst
Is there any water storage available in this purifier?
This purifier in an inline plumbed in system with up to 1 lit/min flowrate. User can store the water in separate clean containers.
How many cartridges are there in this purifier?
There are 2 Cartridges. First one is a Dual Cartridge ( Sediment and Carbon ) and the second one is a Ultra Filtration.
How do I know my water quality, whether suitable for this purifier?
A: If the water source is from river or municipal treated water, it is good to use this purifier, because this purifier retains all useful natural minerals in the water which is one of the best features of this purifier.
If you are using borewell water or external supplier tanker water, please get the water tested locally. The only parameter to be tested is TDS ( Total Dissolved Solids ). If it is below 500ppm, the HWP1 purifier suitable. This purifier is best suited for water with TDS <500 ppm.
After purchasing HWP-1, how do we install this purifier? Any company technician will visit and do installation?
A: HWP-1 is DIY(Do It yourself ) type purifier. The company provides all the required accessories which can help you to unbox and install on your own. We have provided the Installation video in our company website www.highgenewaterpurifier.com

What are the maintenance tips for better long-lasting performance?
- Keep the purifier in neat and clean condition.
- Do not use it with hot water.
- Take out the filters from the housings and wash them once in 3 months
- Change both the filters once in an year or when the flow drops down drastically.
Where do I get new set of filters for replacement cartridges?
A: You can buy online in our website www.highgenewaterpurifier.com, or the filters will be available at nearest retail shops where you have purchased HWP-1. You can also contact our support number for direct purchase.
How do I change filters?
A: We have provided suitable spanner along with the unit. You can use the same to open the purifier cartridge housings and replace the filters with new ones.
Is there any possibility of early need for cartridge replacement? what is the reason?
A: Yes, there is a possibility of need for early cartridge replacement when your raw water is abnormally turbid (dirty). When flow of output water drops to less than 60% it is recommended to replace the filter cartridge.
Is HWP-1 available in different colour?
A: Presently White Colour purifier is available.
Can I get replacement for damaged piece?
A: Free Replacement will be sent if the complaint is received within 2 days of delivery with relevant photographs.
Can I Return HWP-1 if I don’t like the product?
A: Return policy not applicable if the unit is in used condition. Unused purifier can be returned provided request is raised within two days after delivery by calling customer support number or sending email.
Is Taste Enhancement possible in HWP-1?
A: HWP-1 enhances the taste of water by removing odour causing organic chemicals and chlorine. HWP-1 purifier will not alter the TDS of water.
Can we store HWP-1 water for long?
A: You can store in clean airtight containers and advisable to keep in cold or normal room temperature.
Is it required to boil the HWP-1 purified water?
A. No need to boil the water as the harmful microorganisms are already removed by the water purifier.
